Labour and Post-Partum Support Services

I am a trained Doula working towards certification as both a Birth and Postpartum Doula through DONA International. I attended the Doula Workshops in Halifax in November 2017 run by Trena Gallant.

------------------------------------------------------

Birth Doula Support: $1,000

-free 30 minute consultation to chat about Birth Doula services and to gauge fit
-minimum of two prenatal meetings, each lasting approximately three hours. Ideally, meetings are held around 30 weeks and 36 weeks.
-unlimited e-mails and points of contact
-continuous/ongoing text updates & conversation starting at around 35 weeks
-continuous labour support during entire labour, as requested
-basic candid photography at your birth, as requested (My Nikon DSLR camera is a hobby; I'll try my best if you're open to my taking some pictures, but my main focus will be on physical and emotional support. Of course you will have full rights to the images, which I can send to you immediately.)
-immediate Postpartum support following birth for one to two hours, as requested
-one three hour postpartum meeting in your home in the week following birth

------------------------------------------------------

Postpartum Doula Support:

Standard: $75 ($25/hr, three hour minimum)
Extra hours: $25/hr
24 hours: $480 ($20/hr for 24 hours of Doula Support)

-free 30 minute consultation to chat about Postpartum Doula services and to gauge fit
-minimum three-hour support shifts
-maximum 12-hour support shifts
-unlimited e-mails and points of contact between parents and myself during the period of the contract
-access to a fully-trained backup doula in the unlikely event I cannot attend
-basic candid photography, as requested (My Nikon DSLR camera is a hobby; I'll try my best if you're open to my taking some pictures, but my main focus will be on support. Of course you will have full rights to the images, which I can send to you immediately.)
